Projects on HITRECORD are used to collaboratively create, direct, and manage an idea and ultimately finish a piece of media (such as a short film, a song, etc). 

Anyone can start a Project and set overall goals for what they wanna make by creating multiple Steps across different interests by use of the available custom or templatized steps that are related to the Project type. 

Projects can have more than one Project Leader which are assigned by the original Project Creator. Project Leaders can be added or removed at any time by the original Project Creator.

The Project page also allows community members to interact with one another directly on the page! Project Leaders can leave status updates on the project to notify each other about production timeline updates, and community members can leave feedback or comments about the project process.

One important note -- when you issue a Project, it needs at least one published Step to launch. Once the first Step is created and added to the Project, your Project is ready for collaboration!
